I met Kayleigh and Gary for an autumnal woodland engagement shoot four months before their March wedding and they brought beautiful weather to both days! I think everyone (particularly the groomsmen in their tales!) was a little surprised by the amazing weather in March and it set the tone for a wonderful day.
Kayleigh prepared for her day in the fantastic Getting Ready Room at The Ravenswood Hotel in Sharpthorne together with her mum and four bridesmaids where the champagne flowed, whilst the groomsmen enjoyed their finishing touches with drinks in the sunshine around the hotel bar and the Little Castle. With a silver sixpence hidden in her shoe, Kayleigh and her bridesmaids, who all wore floor length champagne coloured gowns, were all extremely nervous as they made their way to the aisle where an emotional Gary awaited his bride who was walked down the aisle by her cousin. Tears certainly flowed from bride and groom and guests alike and the new Mr and Mrs Manze walked back down the aisle to a confetti shower of bubbles.
Following canapés and congratulations Kayleigh and Gary took some time out to explore the glorious grounds of The Ravenswood before their wedding breakfast in the Princess Beatrice Suite surrounded by their loved ones. Kayleigh's mum started off the speeches with a warm welcome to Gary into what is clearly a close knit family, followed by an emotional tribute from Gary to his beautiful bride and finally speeches provided by two best men left Gary cringing in his seat - and a happy birthday surprise given to the mother of the groom who not only shares her birthday with her son's birthday but also now his wedding day! It was only right that she had her moment in the spotlight!
This beautiful wedding would not have been complete without sparklers in the gardens before the guests all let their hair down and cut some shapes on the dance floor.
Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Manze.
