Hi. My name is Nick Davies and I'm a wedding photographer based in East Sussex and the surrounding area. I'm married with two young boys and a ginormous labrador who take up any time I have when I'm not working. I capture natural and relaxed photographs, telling the story of your day as it unfolds. I'm not a fan of having my photo taken (hence the holiday snap taken by my 9 year old son instead of a formal headshot!) and so, if that's you, I completely understand and I appreciate how uncomfortable it can feel in front of a camera. I don't want you to feel like you are being overly posed and coerced into unnatural moments - but I will help guide you and make you feel at ease, whilst the camera is around so that I catch the real you. Your wedding day, your enjoyment, your friends and your family are the number one priorities and I will fit in around you. Every one of my Clients tell me that they either don't even notice that I'm there or that I'm more like a guest at the wedding than a supplier.
My wife, Ria, is the second part to NDavies Photography. I am the photographer who will be with you on the wedding day and Ria is my secretary (and the backbone to NDavies Photography) ensuring I'm where I'm meant to be when I'm meant to be! Ria manages my diary and emails and keeps me on track so sometimes it might be her that you communicate with. Post production Ria will help with the filtering of the thousands of images I take on the day and prepare them ready for me to edit in high resolution to present to you in your online gallery. Ria is also the skill behind my photo books and will design these for you. Occasionally she may be my photography assistant on a wedding with large numbers - however she is not a second shooter. She is great with children and also has a good eye (and loves a good wedding!).

I offer an optional pre-wedding/engagement shoot in East Sussex with every wedding I book which gives you a chance to meet and work with me before the big day. Your comfort and enjoyment of the day are of the utmost importance and this will show through in your images.
I only take bookings for around 20 weddings a year - this is to enable me to dedicate my time to you from start to finish. Your wedding is one of the biggest and most important days of your life and I want you to know that I feel the same way. You will receive 100% of my attention to every detail.
For me, nothing beats the images you capture on a natural wilderness shoot. These are the shots when you and your family are at your best. They are relaxed and candid.
