After an amazing proposal beside a raging waterfall in Scotland in the pouring rain on New Year's Eve, Nicole and Mike's wedding day started at a beautiful lodge just outside the village surrounded by her bridesmaid, flower girl and mum all celebrating with champagne and hair and make up, wearing matching personalised robes. Under the watchful eye of 5 year old Phoebe, Nicole changed into her bridal gown chosen by her and her bridesmaid from Wed2B in Brighton, which she has recently donated to Cherished Gowns UK, a wonderful charity that turns wedding dresses into gowns for babies who have sadly passed away. Once ready, Nicole walked down the stairs to be greeted by a very emotional and tearful granddad who had the honour of walking Nicole down the aisle. Meanwhile, Mike was readying himself at his family home surrounded by his two best men, four brothers, parents and two dogs.

The couple were married at the groom's church, The Welcome Baptist Church, in a very personal ceremony with the Minister conducting the service being a long standing friend of Mike's and an emotional performance of an Oasis song by Nicole's aunt and cousin in memory of her dad.

After the ceremony Nicole and Mike travelled to their wedding reception via an amazing VW campervan, provided by Gecko Campers, where guests awaited them with the most delicious canapés, champagne and Pims at the beautifully and creatively decorated Punnets Town Village Hall. After some group photos were taken it was time for the wedding breakfast with speeches due to follow. But a very nervous grandad could not wait until after the meal and gave his tear jerking 'Father of the Bride' speech before the meal started so he could relax and enjoy the rest of the day. However, I think the best man speech stole the day with the fantastic 'Mike's Beard or Something Weird' game for the guests to play! The food and drink for the entire day was exquisite and the naked cake provided by Charlotte Anne Cake Design was not to be missed.

The evening was finished with amazing moves on the dance floor, fireworks in the gardens and fish and chips served by the bride and groom!

Wishing Nicole and Mike a lifetime full of as much happiness, love and enjoyment that your wedding day contained.
