I first met Rob and Breeze for their engagement shoot on the beach in July and from the moment I met them, they laughed and smiled. Together with their son, Major, they made my job so very easy. And the same can be said for their wedding day.

On 11 August their day started at the mother of the bride's house together with Breeze's three bridesmaids and family who welcomed me into their home. Celebration was most certainly in the air and the house was full of love, laughter and friendship. That was the theme for the day as Breeze made her way to the Chalk Farm Hotel in Willingdon where her grandfather walked her down the aisle beaming with pride. It was clear to see Rob struggling to keep his emotions under check and with Major assisting the best man in providing the rings for his mum and dad to marry under a flowered arch in the gardens of the hotel this was a very special family wedding. Walking back down the aisle there appeared to be an explosion of confetti as the newlywed Mr and Mrs Oliver made their way through their guests.

The gardens of the hotel were set up for a summer garden party with darts, fancy dress accessories and Jenga for the children and guests to play whilst the happy couple and I took a little bit of time to capture some images of them on their special day. With the beautiful Sussex Downs as the backdrop and the stunning country gardens of the hotel this just did not seem like work at all for me! Following the wedding breakfast the party moved back outside for the first dance of the evening - Breeze and her grandfather. Every moment of this wedding was about friends and family and happiness exuded from every member of the wedding party.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Oliver. I wish you a marriage as full of fun, happiness, laughter and love as your wedding.
