Lucy and Adam met like every good couple does now - via Tinder. Their first meeting in person was at Adam's band's gig. And Adam proposed to Lucy over breakfast at their shared home whilst she was still wearing her pyjamas. Not unlike my own engagement to my wife!
Lucy and Adam married at Pilgrims Rest in Battle which is a beautiful 600 year old hall house set next to Battle Abbey which the couple also rented to use for the most stunning couples photos.
Lucy wore an Essense of Australia gown from Isabella Grace Bridal together with a gold pearl necklace, which was gifted to her by her mum, and a golden hairpiece from Etsy. Her mother-in-law also gifted Lucy with some specially embroidered white Converse for her evening shows.
I'm a massive sucker for a dog and any wedding that includes the couple's dog wins a special place in my heart but one of the most memorable moments for Lucy was seeing her bridesmaids standing on the stairs at the Pilgrims Rest and I have to say I agree. It was very special having the bridesmaids with the couple throughout the ceremony, going up the stairs at the front of the room.
